VMEU Energy Efficiency Program

To obtain your rebate stop by city hall at 110 West 3rd Street for a rebate application form or click HERE to print a copy. Take your completed form to City Hall or 214 E. 2nd St. Approved rebates will be refunded to the customer using one of two options. The rebate can be applied to the customers utility account or the customer can receive Vinton Value Dollars that can be spent at local businesses.

No rebates will be issued for any residential equipment that does not carry the Energy StarŽ rating
No rebates will be issued for any Commercial equipment that does not carry the DLC (DesignLights Consortium) rating.

Commercial/Industrial lighting rebate. Available to any VMEU commercial customer that replaces existing T12 fixtures, mercury vapor or Metal Halide with energy efficient units.
